Fort Worth–Arlington topped a recent list of “Best Cities for Relocating Families.” Two other Texas cities also made the list.

Fort Worth–Arlington was named number one for large metropolitan areas (those with populations of 1.2 million or more). Austin–Round Rock came in at number five.

Corpus Christi also ranked number five for cities with populations between 350,000 and 575,000.

The list was compiled by Worldwide ERC and Primacy Relocation.

The organizations worked with Bert Sperling of Sperling's BestPlaces to rate cities based on factors such as home prices, home affordability index, appreciation rates, property taxes, recreation and leisure, arts and culture, air quality, watershed quality, sales tax and unemployment rate.
